Key Bank has “improved” their Bill Pay website.
Oh, joy.
Bill Pay used to open to the “schedule multiple payments at one time” screen. Now I have to go look for it. Each time I log in. I can see how payments affect my balance but I don’t care. See, I already know that because I keep my check register current which is more far useful than the site because it shows all the transactions, not just the ones in Bill Pay. And payment history for that recipient used to be right there on the payment line. Now I have to go “see” it.
On the plus side, the display font is bigger and they use brighter colors.
I love progress.

Oh, swell.
The cost of health insurance this year rose more steeply than in previous years, outstripping wages and adding uncertainty about the pace of growing costs.
Early estimates of the COLA are around 1.2% for next year which obviously takes in the 30% increase in food costs this year on top of 110% increases from the prior two years when there was no COLA at all.

I generally watch the local news on WPTZ when I’m in North Puffin; I like the coverage, the weather reportage, the broadcast team, and the editorial stance.
I don’t like the way they play network programming promos as news, as in “Our next news story is what’s on the t00b tonight.” I don’t care if they think they have to because “other stations do it.”
A teevee show ain’t news.
