I don’t have a thermometer here in South Puffin so I went to wallyworlddotcom to suss out a “Digital Fever Thermometer with Peak Temperature Beeper [and] Last Read Memory.” Just $4.88! In stock to ship to home, just 97¢ shipping (Will not arrive by Dec 24).

Like most shopping sites, wallyworlddotcom also pimps What Was Ultimately Purchased By People Who Viewed This Item:

Wallyworld First Aid Triple Antibiotic Ointment

That just seems odd.

Mercury thermometers require NO BATTERIES.

  1. I am a “prepper”; and I have multi tubes of Wallyworld First Aid Triple Antibiotic First Aid Ointment — along with multi rolls of name brand translucent surgical tape and a good supply of topical Isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs. But it was not me who shopped for the digital fever thermometer with sound enhancement.

I don’t have one of those. Mine is the old style that you stick in your butt. I still have the little box it came in. One size fits all, it says.

  2. I checked this product line on their website. I especially liked the one with various downloadable ringtones and texting capability. It cost more, and was often purchased by others who viewed the pneumatic ear-wax removal kit.

  3. Cold here in Brisbane this Christmas. We had one cold or cool mebbe a decade ago. Completely weird. Global Cooling, anyone?

  4. We used to have colds here in Texas, but we started taking zinc capsules, and that just about stopped them. Lots of allergy sneezes, though but its because of global cat dander, I’m sure of it.
