A clever wordsmith once said: "The more things change, the more they stay the same." So, with that, I am happy to report that the US Postal Service (aka the Post Office) has not changed. I say that because a friend mailed a Priority Mail parcel to me two weeks ago -- which he had the foresight to insure -- and it has yet to arrive. However, ten days ago I ordered a tool from an online organization, and three days later a large brown man wearing ill-fitting brown pants drove up in a big brown truck and handed it to me over the gate. I hope UPS never changes colors.

I see where the Fed has just pumped another three billion greenies into GMAC, which I assume will keep afloat the no-finance-charge deal that came with one of their 2009's.

(the odd thing about that transaction is that I offered to finance it through my own bank, but the dealership said it preferred to use its own financing arm -- which was BTW, the Federal Government, aka tax dollars. They even let me dicker down another $400 if I would close the deal.)

Apparently there is profit in giving away other people's money.

<description>I hope you are kidding about the move to 15% EtOH in gasoline, not to mention the lying claim that it would INCREASE fuel economy. I have never heard ANY claim that ANY car gets better fuel economy running gasoline diluted with EtOH... and my personal experience is that you get 5-10% LESS fuel economy with 10% EtOH in your gasoline. I will be REALLY PISSED if I lose another 5%!!!!
I.HAVE.HAD.ENOUGH.OF.THIS.BULLSHIT!!!!!
